From the selection of limestone to the quality and consistency of the finished product - the ISO 9001:2000 certified Portland manufacturing process is monitored by the Technical Team by analysis and testing in the IANZ certified laboratories.
The other key task of this specialist group is to work with customers on their individual requirements, which can include testing or deciding on cement requirements for a particular project. The Portland Technical Team is at the forefront of the development of cement products in a New Zealand construction environment which places increasing emphasis on cement chemistry.
The Portland laboratory has seen major investment in both testing and maintaining equipment and personnel in recent years.
