A high quality cement grout, suitable for corrosion protection of post-tensioning cables, or for grouting bars in ducts, can be made as follows:
The grout is best mixed with a high-shear colloidal mixer, or for small quantities, with a paint mixer in an electric drill.
This mix can be expected to achieve a 28-day strength of 50 MPa, in standard-cured 50mm cubes.
One 40 kg bag of cement produces 0.03 cubic metres of grout.
